Why don't we ever prioritize the things of God?
Why don't we ever clamour for His Presence?
Why do we disregard the place of worship?
Why are we so quick to choose other events above coming to church?
I felt so shattered this morning, looking at the poor congregation.
Very true...nobody takes attendance in church, but God does.
Yea...nobody need bully you or force you to church..but God awaits you.
God is bigger than anything or anyone that matters to you. Come to think of it, you ain't doing God any favour by going to Church, are you?
Some are so focused on the Pastor so much that when the pastor is not available, there is no service for that day/period.
Some can't even make it to weekly programs, yet they undermine Sunday service
A larger proportion of us will never go late to work, but yet come extremely late to church; almost missing God.
Some are even hypocritical, when they are outside (other denomination); they jump and shout "preach it pastor,...lluyah" while in the real sense, where they are positioned to worship they are rarely useful to God - they're absolutely dis-functional.
Some other people's house chores can not even wait till after church, they want to do it at 'church time' not minding what they are missing- can't the chores wait? Or can't it be done before Sunday morning?
Some are even at home watching film or sleeping; acts that could lead to termination of employment if done at work...we are talking about the father's business here, 'Churching' is God's business.
Why don't we even reference God Almighty at all especially in our orthodox churches, because a level of discipline is still obtainable in our modern-day churches.
Brethren I charge you today with the song JESUS CALLS US O'ER THE TUMULT BH 360
Jesus calls us o'er the tumult
Of our life's wild,restless sea;
Day by day His sweet voice soundeth,
Saying, "Christian, follow me
..with emphasis on Ezekiel 33:11- Let us turn from our displeasing act, it is not God's intention that we be doomed or damned...Be Warned, Amend, Yield. Remember that God knows those who are His.
