I used to think loving unreservedly is bad, and as well a weakness; situation at least taught me that. Experience teaches that you should reserve some content, don't dish out all the love.
Somehow i realised again that loving unreservedly isn't bad; on the contrary it's a wonderful virtue and strength, it shows you share and reflect the trait of your father - God.
I understand through the Bible that we love Him because He first loved us (1john 4:19). After all, while we were yet sinners he gave Himself for us(Romans 5:8)...because He Loves us UNRESERVEDLY.
Why should you or me then hoard our love? That's not good enough. The fact that you have been hurt or disappointed in the past does not mean you should stop loving, it only mean that wisdom is required.
The truth is, while love can hurt, love can also heal; So go ahead and love deep..Yea! You heard me right, love reaaaaal deep BUT let God be the centre of your love; uhn un..see God above that one you love, it will save you both a lot.
